Growing up - Suburban Brisbane

I played heaps of sports growing up, but nothing ever came close to the thrill of two wheels. I started racing some local enduro races in 2019, before later discovering my true passion in Downhill. During a breakout season for me in 2022 I secured the State, National, Oceania and Cannonball Australian Open DHI Champion titles.

Challenges in Juniors

While gearing up to race Junior World Cups as a privateer in 2023, I suffered an injury setback that sidelined me intermittently for the next two seasons of my career. Fortunately, I was able to use the time off racing to work on my physical fitness, lock down a solid finish to Senior School with a 92.3 ATAR, get some PMBIA Coaching qualifications, and start a Bachelor of Construction Management at University.

That extended time out of racing and struggling with recovery setbacks was an immensely frustrating period, but the experience has ultimately given me an enhanced drive and hunger to succeed, as well as a greater appreciation of the amazing opportunities and lifestyle that racing the World Cup circuit can provide.

2025 First Elite Season

I entered the Elite Men’s DHI category in 2025 following an uninterrupted season, with an elevated focus and desire to perform. Racing as a privateer under the Australian Federation jersey, my race highlights so far this year include 21st at the Andorra World Cup, 4th at Crankworx Cairns, and 3rd Overall in the Oceania Continental World Cup Feeder Series (excluding factory riders), earning me entry to the 2026 World Cup season.

So far in my Elite World Cup pursuit, I have ranked inside the top 40 at 4/5 World Cups completed this year, with a flat tyre in my opening race at Loudenvielle ruling me out of finals contention (p39 in Q2).

Goals

For 2025, my riding goals are to build speed earlier in the World Cup race week, consistently qualify for finals, and maximise learning opportunities on the global stage.

Longer term, I’m aiming to earn a spot on a top-tier pro team, contend for podiums at World Cups, and establish my self as one of the world’s top downhill racers.

Why Me?

I believe within the next few years, alongside the right team, I have the potential to contend for consistent top 10 results.

I am a perfectionist, and whilst I understand the importance of recognising improvement and celebrating those small wins, I always find myself searching for more in everything I do. Despite a lack of support at the races, I feel as though my race weekends are only becoming easier with every race I do. However, I believe to truly take my riding to the next level and unlock my full potential, I must devote my complete attention to racing bikes, training effectively, and performing at my best on race weekends. I would relish the opportunity to join a team where I can benefit from their practical and technical know how, race craft and track knowledge, and importantly, share my passion and love of racing with a group of likeminded others.

What Else?

When I’m not racing, you’ll find me fiddling with my bike set up, riding moto, or heading for a surf. I am an upbeat person who takes challenges in my stride, looks for solutions to problems and makes the most of opportunities that come my way.
